Refund Policy

Mapimator is built to help teams tell rich, map-driven stories. If the product is not the right fit for your workflow, this policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what to expect once a claim is submitted.

Eligibility

Refunds are available for paid subscriptions that are cancelled within 14 days of the initial charge, provided the workspace has not exported more than one full-resolution project. Annual plans may receive a pro-rated refund on unused months when cancelled during the first 30 days of the term. We honour any additional obligations required by local consumer protection laws.

How to request

Email billing@mapimator.com from the address associated with your workspace. Include your workspace name, the invoice or transaction ID, and a brief explanation of the issue. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of cancelling the subscription. Our team will confirm receipt within two business days.

Review process

Each request is evaluated to verify eligibility and the nature of platform usage. We may ask for additional context or offer troubleshooting help before approving a refund. Decisions are communicated by email. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and generally appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Partial refunds & credits

In cases where a full refund is not warranted, we may offer a partial credit equal to unused billing time or apply the balance to a future invoice. Credits expire 12 months after issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Workspace owners can view credit balances in the billing settings page.

Non-refundable items

Fees paid for add-on services, custom onboarding, professional services, or third-party integrations are non-refundable once the work has begun. Usage-based charges, including rendering overages and storage add-ons, are also ineligible for refunds unless the charges result from a verified platform outage.

Chargebacks & disputes

Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution and result in suspended access to Mapimator. If we receive a chargeback, we will pause the workspace until the dispute is settled or the outstanding balance is paid.

Updates to this policy

We may adjust this refund policy to reflect changes in our billing practices or legal requirements. Updates take effect when posted, and we will notify workspace owners if changes are material. Questions can be directed to billing@mapimator.com.
